The Board of Directors retained the services of a local professional architectural firm, Rhotenberry Wellen Architects (RWA), to guide the capital project with their expertise and experience in the design and development of similar community projects. The Board is comitted to beginning the new construction (new entry, gym, child care area and parking lot) by Summer 2004. RWA is concentrating its design work on the new construction phase to meet the Board's timing goal. Construction of the new portion of the faciltiy is projected to require 12-18 months. Phase II, which includes total renovation and re-design of the existing space, will require between 20 -22 months to complete |
