One of the most important goals at the Midland YMCA is to provide kids in our community with opportunities to enrich their lives through participation in safe and fun activities with other kids. We don't want to leave anyone out!
Giving youth a nurturing place to go and participate benefits everyone! By introducing children to experiences that will help them grow into responsible, contributing adults, we help the Midland community be a better place to live.
YMCA programs teach youth important values such as honesty, responsibility and respect. Through a variety of fun and rewarding activities, they also develop valuable skills while they gain confidence and self-esteem.
Partners With Youth
We raise funds annually through the "Partners With Youth" campaign to fund scholarships for youth and families who wish to be a part of the YMCA family yet experience financial constraints. To ensure inability to pay does not prevent anyone from joining in the fun, fellowship, growth and learning available through Y programs, we offer applications for scholarships for all programs.
Through our annual support campaign, our donors' contributions help provide program and scholarship funds which are then
available to families who meet the requirements for financial assistance. Only by working together with our members and the community to reach our annual fundraising goal can we provide these growth opportunities for youth and families throughout Midland.
